2025 Infiniti QX60 owner complaints in detail

Owner complaints5

UNKNOWN OR OTHER

Owners report several issues with the 2025 Infiniti QX60, notably involving the wireless phone charging pad, which overheats phones to the extent they shut off, raising concerns about potential fire hazards. Another frequently mentioned issue is the vehicle's spontaneous locking, which occurs even when the key fob is inside, leaving owners locked out and unable to access the vehicle remotely, with some incidents occurring while the car is running. Additionally, cabin vibrations are described as intermittent, often associated with the noise cancellation system, and a sunroof shattering incident is also noted. These issues begin to appear shortly after purchase, with one owner experiencing cabin vibrations within the first month of ownership. Safety implications include the risk of being locked out with the car running and potential overheating of devices, which prospective buyers should consider.

Owner complaints3

ENGINE

Owners of the 2025 Infiniti QX60 frequently report issues related to noticeable engine vibration or rough idling when the vehicle is stopped in Drive, particularly after the engine has warmed up. These symptoms are associated with the VC-Turbo engine, which has been recalled in other models but not in the 2025 QX60, despite similar issues. Additionally, one report describes a complete engine shutdown while driving on the highway, indicating potential safety implications. These issues are mentioned without specific mileage details, suggesting they may occur at various points in the vehicle's usage. Potential buyers should be aware of these reported problems with engine performance and reliability.

Owner complaints2

FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM

Owners report issues with the fuel/propulsion system of the 2025 Infiniti QX60, primarily involving unreliable acceleration and fuel pump failure. Complaints frequently mention a pause or stall in acceleration followed by rapid acceleration, with some instances of the vehicle getting stuck in a low gear. Another reported issue involves the vehicle completely shutting down while driving on the highway, with one owner noting a fuel pump replacement was necessary at 12,287 miles. These problems present potential safety implications, as they involve loss of power and control, particularly at highway speeds or when merging into traffic. Buyers considering this model should be aware of these issues, especially in vehicles with similar mileage.

Owner complaints2

SERVICE BRAKES

Owners of the 2025 Infiniti QX60 report issues with the service brakes, with one complaint detailing defective rear brakes and rotors at under 22,000 miles, resulting in warped rotors and worn-down pads. Another owner describes an incident where the brakes locked up while approaching a red light, requiring repeated attempts to engage them before the vehicle stopped just in time to avoid a collision. These complaints highlight symptoms such as brake noise, potential brake lock-up, and premature wear, occurring at relatively low mileage. Safety implications are noted, including near accidents due to brake failure, which could be a concern for potential buyers.

Owner complaints2

WHEELS

Owners of the 2025 Infiniti QX60 report issues related to wheel stability and safety. Common symptoms include vehicle shaking or swaying at higher speeds and a clunking noise from the front left wheel, which was found to be loose. These issues have been noted within the first 5 months or approximately 4,650 miles of ownership. The safety implications are significant, with one owner expressing concern over the potential for wheel detachment, leading to serious safety risks. Buyers should be aware of these reported issues, particularly as they may impact the vehicle's performance and safety at highway speeds.
