Reliability verdict for the 2024 Hyundai Tucson
With an 84/100 score against a 78/100 segment average, the 2024 Hyundai Tucson rates above average for reliability. That gap suggests a generally solid track record relative to peers, with buyer risk trending lower than the typical vehicle in this class.
Issue reports are not confined to a single system. They cluster around driver-assistance and control functions—forward collision avoidance and vehicle speed control—while electrical and braking concerns also appear. A sizable share falls into “unknown or other,” which reduces clarity on where problems concentrate and makes the complaint picture less precise. Recall activity is elevated rather than limited, adding some exposure despite the strong score.
Overall, the data supports a below-average risk level, with moderate uncertainty due to the spread of reported issue areas.
