Reliability verdict for the 2025 Honda CR-V
With a 90/100 score against an 82/100 segment average, the 2025 Honda CR-V lands well above the class norm for reliability. That gap points to a low buyer risk profile overall, even with a meaningful volume of reported problems on record.
Issue reports are not evenly spread. They cluster most strongly around steering, with additional concentration in visibility/wiper and service-brake concerns, while electrical-system reports appear secondary. A sizable share also falls into unknown/other, which limits how precisely the complaint picture can be interpreted and suggests some variability in how issues are categorized.
Recalls are elevated rather than limited, adding some procedural risk despite the strong score. Overall, the data supports a low-to-moderate reliability risk level.
