Reliability verdict for the 2025 Ford Ranger
With a 79/100 score against an 83/100 segment average, the 2025 Ford Ranger lands slightly below the class norm. That points to solid but not standout reliability, with a modest gap that raises buyer risk above what the segment baseline suggests.

That pattern implies one primary area drawing disproportionate attention rather than broad, across-the-board weakness.
Recall activity is elevated for the model year, which adds complexity to the overall reliability picture even with a relatively small complaint volume. Overall risk level: moderate, leaning higher than the segment average.
