Reliability verdict for the 2021 Chevrolet Malibu

With an 83/100 score against an 80/100 segment average, the 2021 Chevrolet Malibu lands slightly above the class norm. That points to solid overall reliability rather than standout durability, with buyer exposure generally controlled but not minimal.

Issue reports are not evenly spread across the vehicle. They cluster most heavily around the powertrain and the electrical system, while other areas show comparatively little activity.
