Reliability verdict for the 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC
With a 73/100 score against a 77/100 segment average, the 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC lands slightly below typical reliability for its class. That gap isn’t dramatic, but it does indicate a modestly higher likelihood of owner-reported problems than the segment norm.
Issues are not confined to a single system. Complaints cluster most in the powertrain and electrical system, with additional reports tied to forward collision avoidance and exterior lighting. That spread suggests multiple potential touchpoints rather than one dominant weak area. Recall activity is elevated, which increases the model’s overall reliability exposure compared with vehicles showing more limited recall volume.
