Reliability verdict for the 2023 Kia Telluride

With a reliability score slightly above the segment average, the 2023 Kia Telluride lands in the solid, not standout, range. The data points to generally competitive reliability for its class rather than a clear advantage. As a facelift/refresh-year vehicle, it sits in a period where changes can coincide with more variability, and the overall record reflects that middle-of-the-pack position.

Complaints are spread across multiple systems rather than concentrated in a single area. The largest share falls into “unknown or other,” which limits how precisely the pattern can be interpreted, while electrical and visibility/wiper concerns also stand out among the leading categories. Powertrain and structure appear less prominent but still present. Recall activity is elevated rather than limited.

Overall risk level: moderate, with above-average reliability but meaningful recall exposure and broadly distributed complaint themes.
