SEAT BELTS
Owners report issues with the 2022 Hyundai Venue's seat belts, primarily related to a recall for the seat belt pretensioner. Complaints frequently mention that the required parts for the recall repair are on national backorder, with no estimated time of arrival provided by dealers. Several owners express frustration over the delay, noting that they have been waiting for months without resolution. One owner describes a problem with the rear passenger seat belts getting stuck on the seat belt loop guide, posing a potential safety hazard during a crash. These issues are reported at various mileage levels, with some owners mentioning approximate failure mileage around 18,000. The unavailability of parts for the recall repair limits the ability to address the seat belt concerns, which could be a consideration for potential buyers.

STEERING
Owners report issues with the steering of the 2022 Hyundai Venue, including sudden pulling to the left or right and persistent vibrations. Complaints frequently mention that these problems occur at low mileage, with one owner experiencing issues at just 150 miles. Symptoms described include the vehicle pulling in one direction, steering wheel vibrations, and difficulty maintaining control. One incident involved a crash where a driver lost control and side-swiped another vehicle. These issues may pose safety risks, particularly if they lead to loss of control while driving.
Owners of the 2022 Hyundai Venue frequently report issues related to the electrical system, particularly with the radio screen and horn functionality. A common complaint involves the radio screen failing to turn on upon starting the car, which also disables the rear-view camera, potentially posing a safety risk. This issue is noted to occur more often in warmer temperatures. Additionally, multiple owners describe intermittent horn failures, with some reporting that the horn does not sound or only partially functions, often influenced by ambient temperature and humidity. One owner also mentions an inoperable instrument cluster at around 3,000 miles. These electrical issues can impact the vehicle's safety features, such as the rear-view camera and horn, which are critical for safe driving.
