Reliability verdict for the 2025 Genesis G80

The 2025 Genesis G80 scores a 72 out of 100, indicating reliability that is slightly below the segment average. With only two recalls, the recall count is limited, suggesting that widespread systemic issues are not a primary concern. However, the distribution of complaints across different categories—vehicle speed control, lane departure, and electrical system—suggests a lack of concentration in any single area, which could indicate varied quality control challenges.

While the low number of complaints is encouraging, the mixed reliability score reflects moderate risk for potential buyers. The issues are not prevalent, but their diversity implies that owners may encounter unexpected problems. Overall, the Genesis G80 presents a moderate reliability risk, making it a vehicle for buyers who prioritize features over top-tier dependability.
